"Shall Local Law No. 1 of 2026, entitled "Change from Elected Town Highway Superintendent to an Appointed Highway Superintendent and the term of office of the Appointed Highway Superintendent will be a two-year appointment commencing January 1, 2027, be adopted?"
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote adopts Local Law No. 1 of 2026: Lincklaen's highway superintendent becomes an appointed post with two-year appointments starting January 1, 2027.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the local law; the highway superintendent remains an elected office.
