Shall Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026, entitled "A Local Law Increasing the Terms of Office of the Town Supervisor and Town Clerk from Two (2) Years to Four (4) Years," which increases the terms of office of the elected Town Supervisor and Town Clerk from two (2) years to four (4) years, be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves Local Law No. 1 of 2026, lengthening the terms of Virgil's elected town supervisor and town clerk from two years to four years.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the local law; the town supervisor and town clerk terms stay at two years.
