The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the bond resolution adopted by the Common Council of the City of Oneida, dated July 7, 2026, authorizing the reconstruction of the sewer collection system in and for the City of Oneida, Madison County, New York, at a maximum estimated cost of $3,000,000 and authorizing the issuance of $3,000,000 serial bonds of said City to pay the cost thereof, to mature over a period not exceeding forty years; pledging the faith and credit of said City for the payment of the principal of and interest on said bonds, delegating powers to the chief fiscal officer with respect to the issuance and sale of such bonds; and providing for an estoppel procedure, be approved?

A “Yes” vote means

Approves the Common Council's resolution authorizing up to $3,000,000 in city bonds, repaid over up to 40 years, to reconstruct Oneida's sewer collection system.

A “No” vote means

Rejects the bond resolution; the city would not issue these bonds for the sewer reconstruction.
