Shall there be approved and adopted in the Town of Sweden, State of New York, a local law entitled "Amending Sweden Town Code Chapter 38 as enacted by the Sweden Town Board on July 14, 2026 changing the Sweden Tax Receiver from an elected position to a Sweden Town Board annually appointed position?

A “Yes” vote means

The local law is approved, and Sweden's tax receiver becomes a position appointed annually by the town board instead of an elected office.

A “No” vote means

The local law is not approved, and Sweden's tax receiver remains an elected office.
