A local law to extend the terms of office for certain elected Town officials from two years to four years. Shall Local Law No. 1 of 2026, Increasing the Term of Office of the Town Supervisor and Town Highway Superintendent from two (2) years to four (4) years be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves Local Law No. 1 of 2026, lengthening the terms of the Ava town supervisor and highway superintendent from two years to four.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the local law; the town supervisor and highway superintendent keep two-year terms.
