The question, as printed on the ballot

The Town Board of the Town of East Greenbush has adopted a Resolution terminating the Service Award Program for volunteers in the W.F. Bruen Rescue Squad, such termination to be effective December 31, 2026. The W.F. Bruen Rescue Squad has no current volunteers providing services. The Rescue Squad provides ambulance services to the Town of East Greenbush. All volunteer program participants, including those receiving payments of their service award, shall be paid a single lump sum equal to the actuarial present value of the unpaid balance of their earned service award as of the date of the program termination. The total cost of the distributions to the volunteers shall be approximately $550,000 as of December 31, 2026, in addition to administrative costs in the amount of $500.00. The balance in the trust fund shall be returned to the Town of East Greenbush. Shall the Resolution to terminate the W.F. Bruen Rescue Squad Service Award Program be approved?
