Shall Local Law No. 4 of 2026, entitled "A Local Law Superseding Town Law § 24 and Extending the Term of Office of the Town Supervisor from Two Years to Four Years," be approved, so that the term of office of the Town Supervisor shall be four years beginning with the term commencing January 1, 2027, including the person elected Town Supervisor at the general election held on November 3, 2026?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote makes the town supervisor's term four years starting Jan. 1, 2027, including the supervisor elected on Nov. 3, 2026.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the local law; the town supervisor's term stays two years.
