Shall the action of the Town Board of the Town of Fayette in approving Local Law No. 5 of 2026 entitled "A Local Law to Abolish the Elective Office of Highway Superintendent and Create the Appointed Office of Highway Superintendent of the Town of Fayette, New York" be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
Local Law No. 5 of 2026 is approved: Fayette's elected highway superintendent office is abolished and replaced by an appointed highway superintendent.
A “No” vote means
Local Law No. 5 of 2026 is not approved, and Fayette's highway superintendent remains an elected office.
