Shall the elective office of the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Hornby be abolished effective December 31, 2027 and a Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Hornby hereinafter be appointed as provided by Introductory Local Law # 2 for the year 2026?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote abolishes the elected highway superintendent office effective December 31, 2027; the superintendent would then be appointed under Introductory Local Law #2 of 2026.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps the Town of Hornby's superintendent of highways an elected office.
