An additional tax for the benefit of Adams County for the purpose of continued operation of Adams County Children Services and the care and placement of children including Wilson Children's Home that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,232,128 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 1.5-mill, 5-year Adams County property tax for Adams County Children Services and the care and placement of children, estimated to collect $1,232,128 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
