A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Wayne for the purpose of maintaining and operating fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefore, that the county auditor estimates will collect $15,618 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.8 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $12 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.8-mill, 5-year property tax to maintain and operate fire apparatus, appliances and buildings in Wayne Township, estimated to collect $15,618 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
