An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Winchester for the purpose of police protection that the county auditor estimates will collect $74,835 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $123 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 3.5-mill, 5-year property tax for police protection in the Village of Winchester, estimated to collect $74,835 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
