A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Winchester for the purpose of care, supervision, repair and improvement of township cemeteries that the county auditor estimates will collect $12,356 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.4 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $6 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.4-mill, 5-year property tax for the care, repair and improvement of Winchester Township cemeteries, estimated to collect $12,356 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
