The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Colebrook Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $60,018 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2-mill, 5-year property tax for Colebrook Township streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
