A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Jefferson Emergency Rescue District for the purpose of providing ambulance services, emergency medical services, or both, that the county auditor estimates will collect $219,695 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $51 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for ambulance and emergency medical services in the Jefferson Emergency Rescue District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
On the ballot in Jefferson Village and Jefferson Township precincts.
