A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Jefferson for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire equipment and for the payment of other related costs incurred in the operation of Jefferson Area Fire Department, that the county auditor estimates will collect $90,896 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $38 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
