The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Kingsville Township for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries that the county auditor estimates will collect $36,784 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for Kingsville Township cemeteries.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
