The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Ashtabula County Metroparks for the purpose of parks and recreation, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,281,490 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 15 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 0.5-mill, 15-year countywide property tax for Ashtabula County Metroparks parks and recreation.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
