The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Morgan Township (excluding the Villages of Rock Creek and Roaming Shores) for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of roads and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $28,775 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $36 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for roads and bridges in Morgan Township outside Rock Creek and Roaming Shores.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
