The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of 1 mill and an increase of 1 mill for the benefit of North Kingsville Village for the purpose of police department services that the county auditor estimates will collect $148,085 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $61 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 1 mill and adds 1 mill, for a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for North Kingsville police department services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
