The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Saybrook Township Park District for the purpose of current operating expenses for parks and recreation, that the county auditor estimates will collect $105,833 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $12 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 3-year property tax for Saybrook Township Park District parks and recreation.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
