The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jacksonville Village for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $18,956 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5.3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $144 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 5.3-mill, 5-year property tax for Jacksonville Village current expenses, estimated to collect $18,956 a year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
