A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Rome Township for the purpose of road maintenance including dust control that the county auditor estimates will collect $153,046 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $174 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 5.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Rome Township road maintenance including dust control, estimated to collect $153,046 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
