A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Wayne Township, including the Village of Waynesfield, for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries that the county auditor estimates will collect $23,700 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.7 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $16 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.7-mill, 5-year property tax in Wayne Township, including Waynesfield, to maintain and operate cemeteries.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
