A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Flushing Township for the purpose of road and bridge maintenance covering areas of Flushing Township (excluding the Villages of Flushing and Holloway), that the county auditor estimates will collect $77,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $67 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.5-mill, 5-year property tax for road and bridge maintenance in Flushing Township outside Flushing and Holloway, estimated to collect $77,000 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
