A renewal of 1.3 mills of an existing levy and an increase of 0.2 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax benefit of Somerset Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repairs of roads and bridges within Somerset Township, Belmont County that the county auditor estimates will collect $73,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $31 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 1.3 mills and adds 0.2 mill, for a 1.5-mill, 5-year Somerset Township property tax for roads and bridges, estimated to collect $73,000 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
