An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Ripley for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in municipal corporations that the county auditor estimates will collect $82,521 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $88 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2.5-mill, 5-year property tax for construction and repair of streets, roads and bridges in the Village of Ripley, estimated to collect $82,521 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
