A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Carroll County for the purpose of the maintenance and operation of the County Home (Carroll Golden Age Retreat), that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,761,950 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $30 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.4-mill, 5-year property tax (about $1.76 million a year) to maintain and operate the Carroll Golden Age Retreat county home.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
