The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Salem Township for the purpose of providing fire & EMS services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $210,500 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $64 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year property tax for fire and EMS services in Salem Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
