The question, as printed on the ballot

An additional tax for the benefit of Urbana Township (Unincorporated - exclusive of the City of Urbana) for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire and emergency medical (ambulance) services (EMS), for the payment of firefighting companies or permanent, part-time, or volunteer firefighting, and emergency medical service that the county auditor estimates will collect $525,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $140 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves an additional 4-mill property tax, with no end date, for fire and EMS in Urbana Township outside the City of Urbana.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the additional levy.
