A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Pleasant Township (including the Village of Catawba) for the purpose of providing ambulance or emergency medical services operated by a fire department or firefighting company, that the county auditor estimates will collect $93,774 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $63 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.8-mill, 5-year property tax for ambulance or emergency medical services in Pleasant Township, including Catawba.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
