A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. Shall Section 3.03 of the Village of East Palestine Charter be amended to correct certain typographical errors in the current text, and to state that a Councilmember may be removed for cause upon a two-thirds vote of the remaining members of Council in favor of removal (rather than a unanimous vote of the remaining members of Council?)
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the charter so a council member may be removed for cause by a two-thirds vote of the remaining members rather than a unanimous vote, and corrects typographical errors.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves Section 3.03 of the charter unchanged.
