A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. Shall Sections 4.13, 4.15, 4.16, 8.05 and 10.05 of the Village of East Palestine Charter be amended to eliminate requirements that public notices be published in a newspaper of general circulation, and allow the Village to publish notices on the Village website?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote removes charter requirements to publish public notices in a newspaper of general circulation and allows the village to publish them on its website.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the newspaper publication requirements in the charter.
