A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. Shall an annual income tax of 1 per cent on the earned income of individuals residing in the school district be imposed by East Palestine School District, for a continuing period of time, beginning January 1, 2027, for the purpose of current expenses?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote imposes a continuing 1% tax on the earned income of school district residents, starting January 1, 2027, for East Palestine schools' current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the income tax.
