A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of West Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads, that the county auditor estimates will collect $245,120 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $59 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year property tax (about $245,120 a year) for West Township roads.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
