A renewal tax for the benefit of Chatfield Township, Crawford County, Ohio, for the purpose of providing funds for protection against fire, that the county auditor estimates will collect $264,305 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $37 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.8-mill, 5-year property tax for Chatfield Township fire protection, estimated to collect $264,305 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
