The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the terms of office for the legislative authority of the City of Galion be changed from two (2) years to four (4) years for its “at-large” members beginning January 1 after the next municipal election with the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Wards elected to a two (2) year term and then four (4) years thereafter, be passed?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote changes Galion's at-large council terms from two to four years after the next municipal election; ward seats get one two-year term, then four-year terms.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps the council terms at two years.
On the Galion 1A through 4C precincts in Crawford County and on the Richland County ballot of the Sandusky Township precinct (2200/3) in Galion. Crawford County's board certified it. Wording from the board of elections' 46-day election notice; the ballot's full wording may differ.
