The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article III, Section 1(b), of the Charter of the City of Broadview Heights be amended to provide that no person shall hold the office of councilperson for more than three (3) consecutive four (4) year terms or twelve (12) consecutive years; and that terms served prior to the effective date of this amendment shall not be counted?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote amends the city charter to limit council members to three consecutive four-year terms (12 consecutive years), not counting terms served before the amendment.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
