The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Article IV, Section 1 of the Charter of the City of Broadview Heights be amended to provide that no person shall hold office of Mayor for more than three (3) consecutive 4 year terms or twelve (12) consecutive years unless one (1) full term or more had elapsed since that person last held the office of Mayor; and that terms served prior to the effective date of this amendment shall not be counted?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the city charter to limit the Mayor to three consecutive four-year terms (12 consecutive years), not counting terms served before the amendment.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
