The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article II of the Charter of the Village of Brooklyn Heights be amended to provide that staggered terms for Council be eliminated; that three (3) Council positions shall be elected at the November 2027 election for a term of two (2) years; and that beginning with the November 2029 regular Village election, all five (5) Council positions shall be elected to four (4) year terms?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote ends staggered Council terms: three seats elected in 2027 for two years, then all five seats elected to four-year terms from 2029.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
