The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Sections 7 and 12 of the Charter of the City of Garfield Heights be amended to change the terms of all seven (7) members of Council from two (2) to four (4) years, beginning at the General Election held in November 2029; and to provide that Council shall elect one of its members President of Council at the first meeting in December following the General Election?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lengthens all seven Council terms from two to four years starting with the November 2029 election, and has Council elect its President each December after the election.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
