The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of 4.7 mills and an increase of 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of the County of Cuyahoga for the purpose of supplementing general fund appropriations for health and human or social services that the County Fiscal Officer estimates will collect $261,527,652 annually, at a rate not exceeding 7.2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $196 for each $100,000 of the County Fiscal Officer’s market value, for ten years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 4.7 mills and adds 2.5 mills, for a 7.2-mill, ten-year county tax for health and human or social services, estimated at $261,527,652 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
