The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Section 6.7 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood be amended to provide that on or before March 1 of each odd numbered year, the Civil Service Commission shall set forth the commission's recommendations for the salary and other compensation for the offices of mayor and members of council?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote has the Civil Service Commission recommend salaries for the mayor and council members by March 1 of each odd-numbered year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
