The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the Charter of the Village of Oakwood be amended by adopting new Section 13.08 to provide that the standards of ethical conduct and avoidance of conflicts of interest for all elected and appointed officers, officials, and employees of the Municipality shall be those established by the general laws of the State of Ohio, including civil and criminal penalties imposable for violations of such standards?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote adopts Ohio's general-law ethics and conflict-of-interest standards and penalties for all village officers, officials and employees.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
