The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article V, Section 3 of the Charter of the Village of Orange be amended to require the Law Director be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio; and to provide Council the authority to appoint special counsel upon the recommendation of the Law Director, at the request of the Mayor, or its own initiative?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote requires the Law Director to be licensed in Ohio and lets Council appoint special counsel.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
