The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article IV, Section 5 of the Charter of the Village of Orange be amended to provide that the Mayor shall execute all contracts, conveyances, evidences of indebtedness and all other instruments to which the Municipality is a party, provided that such execution may be performed by the Mayor's designee at the Mayor's direction, and or via mechanical device operated at the Mayor's direction?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote lets the Mayor's designee or a mechanical device, at the Mayor's direction, execute contracts and other instruments for the village.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
