The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article V, Section 2 of the Charter of the Village of Orange be amended to provide that the Treasurer shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a vote of four (4) members of Council; and that the Treasurer shall be head of the Finance Department?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote has the Mayor appoint the Treasurer, with four council votes to confirm, and makes the Treasurer head of the Finance Department.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
