The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Article VIII, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Rocky River be amended to provide that within twenty (20) days of the filing of a recall petition, the Clerk, in consultation with the Board of Elections, shall determine whether or not it meets the requirements to hold a recall election; and to expand the timeframe for holding a recall election from between thirty (30) and forty-five (45) days, to not less than sixty (60) and no more than seventy-five (75) days after the delivery of notice to the elected officer of a sufficient petition calling for the officer to resign?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote gives the Clerk 20 days to review a recall petition and moves a recall election to 60-75 days after notice, instead of 30-45 days.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
