The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Article XIV of the Charter of the City of Solon be amended to add Section 5 to provide that Council shall adopt a procedure and process for the Zoning and Development of the Industrial Core Area as identified and described within the City of Solon Master Plan, which shall not employ the procedure and process contained in Sections 1 and 2 in Article XIV, which requires that any ordinance effecting a change in the zoning classification, zoning map change, or zoning use shall be approved by a majority of electors voting thereon?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote has Council adopt a zoning process for the Master Plan's Industrial Core Area that does not require voter approval of zoning changes there.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the charter unchanged.
