The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of part of an existing levy, being a reduction of 0.95 mill for each $1 of taxable value, to constitute a tax for the benefit of Delaware Area Career Center for the purpose of improving, renovating, remodeling, enlarging, furnishing and equipping school buildings and facilities at a rate not exceeding 0.40 mill and for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 0.35 mill, that the county auditor estimates will collect $5,773,576 annually, at a combined rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews part of an existing levy at a reduced 0.75 mill for 10 years for the Delaware Area Career Center's buildings (0.40 mill) and current expenses (0.35 mill).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
The career center's district covers parts of Delaware, Franklin, Marion, Morrow and Union counties; on Delaware County ballots it appears in the Big Walnut, Buckeye Valley, Delaware City and Olentangy school districts.
